Our Story

A Seattle-area family brand built on a simple idea: everyday comfort should be practical, reusable, and thoughtfully made.

Rooted in the Pacific Northwest

We’re a husband-and-wife team based in the greater Seattle area, and we both graduated from the University of Washington. The Pacific Northwest shaped how we think about good design: keep it useful, make it durable, and leave out what does not serve a purpose.

ESCOSY began at home. We had used disposable heat wraps for long desk days, time on our feet, post-activity wind-downs, and cycle-day comfort. They were convenient once, but the cost, waste, and inconsistent fit added up. We believed there should be a better everyday option.

Why we created Lumbar One

We wanted one wearable product that could fit different people and different routines—rechargeable instead of single-use, adjustable rather than one-size-fits-some, and simple enough to use without interrupting the day.

That idea became ESCOSY Lumbar One: adjustable warmth, gentle vibration, and supportive compression in one wrap, with integrated controls and an included extender. It is designed for the ordinary moments that make up real life—not as a miracle solution, but as a practical tool for everyday comfort.

How we work

ESCOSY is family-owned and based in Washington State. We shape the product direction, brand, and customer experience here in the Seattle area, and work with an experienced manufacturing partner in China to produce Lumbar One.

We believe trust is built through specifics. Before we publish a product claim, we look for supporting documentation or test results—from fit measurements and operating modes to battery transport compliance. If something is still being verified, we would rather say so than dress it up with marketing language.

What matters to us

• Useful by design. Every feature should earn its place and make the product easier to live with.
• Reusable over disposable. A rechargeable wrap should reduce the need for a drawer full of single-use products.
• Comfort for real routines. Desk days, post-activity downtime, cycle days, and time on your feet all deserve a flexible option.
• Honest details. Clear specifications, care instructions, and product limits matter more than inflated promises.
